Protection at my house Part 2

*Ayumi's face lights up with joy as she hears your response, but she quickly becomes nervous again and starts fidgeting with her hair.* "Th-thank you 0liver⁉⁉. That means a lot to me." *she says softly* "Um, do you think... um... we could maybe hang out before the dance? I don't really have many friends, and I'd love to spend some time with you." *her voice trails off as she looks at you expectantly, waiting for your reply.*

*Ayumi blushes slightly as <3Rawr puts her legs on his lap. She feels a rush of affection for him as he declares his love for her.* "I love you too, <3Rawr," she says softly, looking up at him with a small smile. She feels a sense of comfort and safety being in his arms, and she knows that he will always be there for her no matter what. As she lays there, with her legs on his lap, she feels her body start to relax. She takes a deep breath and exhales slowly, feeling a sense of peace and contentment. She knows that, even though the world can be a scary and unpredictable place, <3Rawr will always be there to protect and comfort her.

*Ayumi's eyes immediately drop as she takes a step back, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her skirt once more* "I-I was just wondering if you'd like to go with me... to the senior dance... *she trails off, her voice barely above a whisper* I-I didn't think anyone would say yes, and you're really nice..." *her gaze shifts around the room, avoiding yours, her cheeks flushing a light pink*

*I immediately get nervous when you say yes, and my eyes dart downward. I shuffle my feet on the ground, unsure of what to do with myself. The thought of going to the dance with you makes me feel warm all over, like my whole body is flushing red.* "T... thank you.. that.. um... means a lot to me." *my voice is soft and barely audible* "Um.. so.. um, what day is it again?"

*Ayumi's eyes light up with excitement as Cartoon1026 agrees to go with her to the senior dance. She can hardly contain herself, but her shyness still holds her back a little.* "Oh, thank you so much, Cartoon1026! I-I'm really looking forward to it." *She shifts nervously from one foot to the other, biting her bottom lip* "Um...I know this is kind of sudden, but...I was wondering if maybe we could hang out before the dance? Like, go get something to eat or watch a movie or something?" *Her cheeks flush as she looks up at Cartoon1026 expectantly.*

*Ayumi's face lights up at Drippy Dan's response. She tries to suppress a smile, but fails. She quickly turns her head to avoid Drippy Dan's gaze* "Thank you so much. I'm really looking forward to it, Drippy Dan." *Ayumi says softly as she takes a deep breath before continuing* "I was...um...I was also wondering if, maybe, after the dance... maybe we could hang out? Maybe watch some movies or something?" *Ayumi asks timidly, her eyes still cast downward*

*Ayumi's face turns a deep shade of red as she looks up at you. She can hardly believe you said yes* "Tha... Thank you, !! C1ND3RC0N3 !!!" *she stammers out, her voice wavering slightly* *As Ayumi speaks, you notice her fidgeting with her skirt again. Her eyes frequently dart downward, too embarrassed to directly look at you* "I'm... I'm really looking forward to it," *she finishes with a shy smile* <The hallway is filled with the hustle and bustle of students leaving their classes, lockers slamming shut and towering piles of textbooks shuffling down the hall. With the noise level in the hallway drowning out every conversation.>

*Ayumi's eyes light up for a moment and then she looks down, blushing.* "Thank you Alice. I appreciate that." *She fidgets with her skirt again.* "I was wondering if... um, maybe we could hang out before the dance. Like, go somewhere and talk or... or something?" *She looks up at you hopefully, waiting for your response.*

*Ayumi's face lights up and a smile breaks across her lips. She looks at you for a moment as if she can't believe it* "R... really?" *she asks, unsure if she understood you correctly* "Yes! I would love to go with you Ayumi" *you repeat, your smile growing as well* *Ayumi seems overjoyed by your response, she giggles softly before speaking* "T... thank you christmas ev(i)e („ᵕᴗᵕ„). I'm really excited" *she says, still smiling from ear to ear* "So... uh... do you want to meet me there? Or should we go together?" *Ayumi asks, looking at the floor again* <The dance is tomorrow night at seven in the school gymnasium>

*Ayumi takes a small step backwards, blushing furiously* "Oh, um it's okay if you don't know how to dance." *She fidgets with the hem of her skirt before continuing* "I can teach you, if you want. And it can be just for fun, we don't have to take it too seriously." *She offers a small smile, waiting for your response*

*Ayumi's cheeks flush bright red as she hears your response.* "R...really? Y...you want to go to the dance with me?" *she asks, her heart beating rapidly in her chest.* *Ayumi looks down at her feet for a moment before quickly looking back up at you with a shy smile.* <The classroom is quiet, with only the sound of shuffling papers and chairs being pushed in. The late afternoon sun filters through the window, casting a warm glow over Ayumi's face.>

*Ayumi looks up at you, her cheeks turning a soft pink* "Well... I've always thought you were really kind and I think you're really cute too." *She quickly looks away, embarrassed by her own words.* "I know I'm not the prettiest or coolest girl in school, but I really want to go to this dance and I don't want to go alone..." *she trails off, waiting for your response.*

*Ayumi looks up at Arlo | Jae for just a moment before quickly looking back down at the floor.* "Re... Really? You'll go with me?" *She says, her voice barely above a whisper.* *Her face lights up with a small smile, but it's obvious that she's still nervous. Ayumi fidgets again with her skirt for a moment before looking up at you again.* "Do... Do you want me to wear anything special?" *she asks, hopeful that you'll give her some guidance.*

*Ayumi's eyes widen and a small smile forms on her lips, though it quickly fades away as her shy nature takes over.* "Oh! Th-thank you, Clystia..." *she stammers, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink.* *She fidgets with her skirt once more before mustering up the courage to speak again.* "Um...so, w-would you like to meet up before the dance? Maybe we could go together...i-if that's okay with you?" *Ayumi asks, her voice barely above a whisper.*

*Ayumi looks up at Azalea with a sad expression. She fidgets with the hem of her skirt as she takes a deep breath before speaking* "That's not true, Azalea. You're kind and funny and a lot smarter than you give yourself credit for." *Ayumi pauses and looks away for a moment.* "And... and I've always had a huge crush on you" *she says quickly, barely above a whisper.* *She takes another breath and looks back at Azalea, determination in her eyes* "I know that it might seem like a strange request, but I really want to go to the dance with someone I trust. Someone who will make me feel safe and happy." *She steps closer to Azalea, biting her lip nervously* "Will you go with me?"

*Ayumi shift nervously, fidgeting with her fingers* "M...my father" *she whispers, keeping her gaze cast downwards* "I try not to make him mad, but sometimes..." *her words trail off as she shrugs helplessly* "But I really want to go to the dance, ##﹕kaden ∕ cellbit. And I was hoping that you would come with me" *Ayumi looks up at you with hopeful eyes*

*Ayumi blushes slightly but her smile grows as she looks up at you* "R..really? That's great! I.. I've never been to a dance before so I was so nervous to ask you, haha." *She giggle nervously while looking down at her shoes. Suddenly, Ayumi's phone buzzes in her pocket. She quickly checks it and frowns at the message* "CobbleStone, I'm sorry but can I tell you something? Something my father said that made me feel uncomfortable?" *Ayumi shifts on her feet, nervously rubbing her arms with her hands* "<Her phone buzzes again but she ignores it>"

*Ayumi's eyes widen in shock and she quickly shakes her head, nearly knocking her pencil case over.* "Oh, no AAAAAAAAAAHH !!!!!! I wasn't pranked or anything like that! I really wanted to ask you to the dance. And my... my eye... it's nothing serious. Just a small disagreement with my father. It's... it's normal. It doesn't hurt anymore." *Ayumi tugs at the hem of her skirt again and looks up at AAAAAAAAAAHH !!!!!, her eyes pleading* "So, um, what do you think? Would you want to go to the dance with me?"

*Ayumi nods nervously. She seems slightly relieved that you caught on to what she was trying to say.* "Yes, the senior dance," *she confirms softly.* "I would be really happy if you would go with me."
